So since there was some interest in the idea of moving my party up due to the dire circumstances, I have decided to plan on having it July 15th now. Mark your calendars because there should be no excuse for missing it. It will be at my parents house, but I will be making plans for them elsewhere that night. |

I think we all need a break from the bad news. I mean, yes, it's bad but what good is dwelling on it going to do? We all need something to get our minds off it. I've been thinking all summer about throwing a back-to-school party sometime in August but now that we all need the distraction, maybe I'll have it sooner. What do you guys think? |

How is everybody? Glad to be back at school? I was excited about coming back and seeing my friends, but I'm not too happy now. I've had barely any time to spend with friends. Even Parvati. I see her in classes, yes, but there's been no girl talk and I really need girl talk. |

Everything has been so morbid and depressing lately. I hate depressing.
I have decided that this year, I'm going to make an honest attempt to get over Seamus. No, really. Forget him entirely. Okay, I'm lying. I will have to win him over somehow, I'll just have to figure out how to get him to notice me.

Every year, when I get my Hogwarts letter, I hope that they change the dress code to whatever color robes you choose to wear and they can have any patterns or designs on them. I've been disappointed, yet again.
Mum bought me new boring black robes the other day. Yes, she bought them. Latia and I weren't allowed to go to Diagon Alley with her because she wanted to get it done quickly and get back. She thought we would slow her down or something.
Whatever.
I just can't wait for school to start, not for the classes of course. Just to see people my own age and my friends. I miss Parvati. And Seamus |
